Amid the historic and funky shops and restaurants of downtown Lawrence, you will witness the crazy and creative acts, oddities, and performances of the Lawrence Busker Festival. Bold and Brazen, Buskers are incredible street performers who provide jaw-dropping entertainment, and when the clock strikes five in the evening August 24th, these Buskers will come out to play. New talent will appear at the fest this year, with The Pogo Dudes and their high flying tricks, Jonathan Burns the comedy contorionist, Shibaten Spirit with his amazing array of musical skills and last year's favorite Thom Sellectomy the comedy sword swalllower.
Along with these great acts there will also be a steady offering of Freaks, Geeks and the Unique. They include Escape Artists, Magicians, Fire Eaters and Flaming jugglers, Acrobatic Dancers, Hula Hoop Artists, Arial Acts and oddball music too wild to define. It's all coming your way this August 24-26!

Got an act that you think needs to be at our event? Apply here and we will look you over and let you know. If you want to come and perform off the main sites during our event you will need to apply for a permit and pay a small fee this year. Please go here to do that.
